Hi. First things first, my name's Charlotte Cooke. I graduated from the University of Derby in 2009 with a first-class honours degree in Commercial Photography and am now a fully-qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography. Photography, as you can see, is my foremost passion, the thing that inspires and satisfies me more than anything else in life. It's the last thing I think about when I go to bed at night and the first thing I think about when waking up the next morning. It's something I couldn't possibly live without.

As for what makes me, me, I specialise in wedding, events and portraiture photography and have built up an extensive portfolio containing examples of each since my graduation.

On this site you will find corporate and commercial head-shots for actor Warwick Davis' company Willow Management, action shots from events held by the Dwarf Sports Association, Little People UK and Challengers, as well as many examples of wedding photography, family portraits, new born baby portraits and even pet portraits (yes, they too exist).

My style combines classic and modern and the aim is for a candid, documentary feel; this produces creative, natural photographs which capture fun and laughter all the while remaining non-intrusive. In short, I strive for a light-hearted approach to formal group shots, so don't panic if you hate being in front of the camera – we can work around this! Weddings, of course, tend to be very unique occasions and, as such, I'm always willing to tailor our packages to suit your needs. It's imperative we work from the same script and that I know exactly what it is you want. To this end, I make a concentrated effort to set aside time to meet and get to know you before your big day and to run through any ideas you might have. This input gives me a feel for your personal tastes and interests and subsequently makes for an all-round collaborative effort. Not only that, I also dedicate the time to scout out the best settings for your photographs, meaning you have one less thing to worry about on the day, and do all I can to ensure your event is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
